Time Travel Recovery Guide

Time Travel is the primary method to recover missed event Pokemon. Follow these steps carefully:

1

Save your game before changing any time settings

Always have a restore point

2

Open Switch System Settings → Date and Time

Turn off automatic time sync first

3

Set date to the event period (e.g., March 10, 2026)

Do not connect to internet while time is changed

4

Launch Pokopia and complete the relevant action

Visit the event location or set up required habitat

5

If event Pokemon appears, befriend it and save

Then immediately return date to correct time

6

Return Switch date/time to correct settings after

This prevents affecting other games

Warning

Time Travel can affect online components and other games on your Switch. Always return to correct time after use. Never use this on games with active online trading or events tied to real-world time.

Missed Event Recovery Tips

Time Travel Recovery

For most events, you can recover missed Pokemon via Time Travel to the event dates. Save first, then restore if needed.

Event Items Remain

Some event items (like Hoppip's Picnic items) can still be purchased after the event if you have the currency.

Keep Habitat Setup

If you set up the correct habitat during an event, some event Pokemon may continue to spawn even after the event ends. Keep your setup.

Cloud Island Reset

Bringing event items to Cloud Islands and returning to main island can sometimes cause event Pokemon to reappear.
