What is Pokémon Pokopia?
Pokémon Pokopia is a life-simulation game developed by Game Freak and Omega Force (Koei Tecmo), released on March 5, 2026 as a Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive.
You play as Ditto transformed into a human, exploring a post-human world where Pokémon roam freely. Using moves learned from Pokémon friends, you rebuild ruined landscapes into thriving habitats — greening wastelands with Razor Leaf, watering gardens with Water Gun, and even soaring across mountains as Dragonite.
Already the highest-rated Pokémon game on Metacritic, it blends the cozy charm of Animal Crossing with the creative freedom of Minecraft.
